Born in Paris in 1854 studied under Dumont, Bonnissieux
and Thomas and exhibited at the Salon des Artiste
Française from 1882 to 1922 winning bronze
medals at the expositions of 18 9 1900, and traveling
scholarship in 1988. The specialized importer
medallions, bas-relief, and busts. He was a brother
to Claudius Marioton enjoyed a strong reputation
for nearly 50 years. Numerous works by the artist
were produced in bronze such as, La Victoire,
Fleur des Champs, meditation, La Danse, and bust
of Manon.
